Hunting for
Blue Duiker

The blue duiker is the smallest of the duiker species and one of Africa’s smallest antelopes, weighing 10-12 pounds. With blue-gray hair, a white belly, and a short white-tailed underside, they are solitary and shy. Hunting is challenging due to their secretive nature. Best hunted in South Africa from June to October, blue duikers are ideal for full mounts due to their size. Walk-and-stalk or sitting near water pools are effective methods. They are one of the “Tiny Ten” species.
