Hunting for Warthog
The warthog, a common wild pig, is a popular trophy among safari hunters. Found in grasslands, woodlands, and near waterholes, they prefer grazing on fresh grass in burned areas. Named for the wart-like protrusions on their faces, warthogs have sharp tusks that can be long, especially in females. Often living in antbear dens, they are tough, weighing up to 250 pounds. For hunting, aiming for a high heart shot. Their poor eyesight is offset by keen hearing and smell. Hunting warthog is challenging and rewarding, whether for trophy or meat.
